Band Bio:

Fantastical Tigers is a musical duo from Tampa, FL. They write, record, and produce all of their own original music, which has a distinctly lo-fi sound, with hauntingly beautiful vocals, smooth guitar licks, lock-step bass lines, hip-hop rhythms, and alternative pop appeal.

The duo emerged on the Tampa music scene in early 2021, amassing a tight-knit and dedicated organic following in the area. They have played on some of Tampa’s biggest stages, including The Straz Center and Gasparilla Music Festival. Their sultry, electro-noir sound also earned them nominations for Creative Loafing’s Best of the Bay Awards two years in a row. Moreover, they have expanded their influence beyond just the Tampa Bay area with several shows in cities all across the country. They also set themselves apart with a unique offering of merchandise, including hand-painted, 3d printed artwork, that emphasizes their undeniably cute and satirically sad brand imagery.

Fantastical Tigers will add to their lo-fi alternative pop library with the release of their new single Pity Party. Reminiscent of trip-hop influences like Portishead, the song solemnly explores the feelings of resentment and loss following a painful breakup - classic sad girl vibes.
